Base Oil
Base oils are used to manufacture products like motor oil, lubricating greases and metal processing fluids.
Different products require different quantities of these oils. When crude oil is heated, the various distillates are separated from one another. And, while the light ones can be refined to make petrol and other fuels, the heavier ones are suitable for bitumen and base oils.
