Optima Energy Resources Limited, incorporated in 2007, operates under the leadership of a team of dynamic professionals who have vast experience and have held senior positions with trading, shipping and investment companies across the globe.
Optima Energy Resources has established itself as a major player with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. In Nigeria, we partner with a host of reputable organizations, and part of our activities include importing some essential petroleum products on behalf of the NNPC. Some of our products include but are not limited to: Part of our services in Nigeria include the export of crude oil, naphtha, LPG, fuel oil and pentane. Our supply of oil products to the private sector and the local industry has made us even more relevant in Nigeria. In 2012, Optima Energy Resources Limited started operations in Koko, Warri, Delta State, and has built a flagship tank farm there. Our tank farm is a 36,000 cbm clean petroleum products terminal that is used for the throughput of gasoline, gas oil and DPK. Even more, we are on the verge of expanding into the storage and distribution of LPG, storage of base oil, and a lubricant blending plant. Our tank farm is strategically located along the waterfront and this avails us the opportunity to boast of our own jetty, to which vessels can berth and discharge petroleum products. Even more, our depot at Koko is one of 15 currently recognised by the NNPC as strategic partners for the distribution of premium motor spirit (Petrol) in Nigeria. The company's operational base is located at the Koko terminal, while our administrative offices are in Abuja and Lagos. In terms of expansion, Optima Energy is in the process of securing a 10-year terminal user agreement with NNPC to utilise the 4,000 metric tonnes LPG storage facility in Apapa, Lagos, with plans to increase the facility's storage capacity to 8,000 metric tonnes by 2022. The company is also in the process of expanding the Koko terminal to include storage facilities for bitumen and LPG. In recent times, we have commenced the development of a retail network across Nigeria to support downstream expansion plans. Currently, we have operational filling stations in Abuja, with plans to add 50 more stations across the country within the next eighteen months. As of today, the company has a staff strength of 93 employees.Key Success Factor
